The majority of our schools will fill their Pre-K seats with Round 1 applications. You MUST have your application submitted no later than May 1st in order to be considered in Round 1.
The Round 1 Pre-K application for 2024/2025 is open and will close on May 1st.
We do not fill seats "first come first served".
If the application is complete with all acceptable documents, meets the income limits and other eligibility criteria set by the state, and is submitted by May 1st, it will be part of the randomly generated lottery for Round 1.
To apply go to:

NOTE: Your child must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 30, 2024 to apply for the 2024/2025 school year.
Submit your application any time between Feb. 1st and May 1st to be considered in Round 1.
Income Limits for 24/25 have been posted.
Parents of upcoming kindergarten children (for 2024/2025) who are not currently enrolled in any of our Pre-K programs should complete the district's online registration (lpsb.org>Parents).
Only the parents of Pre-K children who were selected in the lottery will complete the district's online registration for the 2024/25 school year. Information will be sent out and this will be available in July.
